Under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), your personal data is processed by Turmetre (an Aselsis company) acting as data controller, within the scope described below.
The name, company name, phone number, e-mail address and message content you share through the forms on our website, as well as cookie data related to site usage, are processed. Vehicle location data processed on behalf of our platform customers is processed under the relevant customer agreement, with the customer acting as data controller.
Your personal data is processed to run the demo, quote and support processes you request, to communicate with you, to improve our services and to fulfil legal obligations.
Your personal data is not shared with third parties except where legally required, and is stored on secure servers located in Türkiye. Sharing with our infrastructure providers happens only to the extent the service requires, under contractual safeguards.
Your data is retained for as long as the processing purpose requires and for the limitation periods set out in applicable legislation; at the end of that period it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information if it has been, to learn the purpose of processing, to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, to request deletion or destruction, to know the third parties it has been transferred to, and to claim compensation for damages.
